Friends of the Falmouth Memorial Library
	July 11, 1-4 pm	Library Sundae! Antique cars (some giving rides), maybe the Falmouth antique fire truck, ice cream sundaes, Doc's Banjo Band, authors Richard and Nancy Fraser, valve cover racing and much more! Don't miss this great family event. Tickets for rides and sundaes are $2.50. Everything else is free. Valve Cover Racing Info - CLICK HERE! HELP NEEDED - we will need help to make this event a success. If you would like to help set up, take down, sell tickets, scoop ice cream, let us know. Call 781-2351. If you could print out a few posters and put them up in likely locations in the area, CLICK HERE.
The Friends of the Falmouth Memorial Library need you! If you are interested in taking an active, leadership role in this important organization that supports the Library, please let us know. If you shop at Hannaford's you can support our Friends when you turn in your bottles. Pick up a CLYNK bag with a special barcode label on it at the Falmouth Memorial Library. Fill it with returnable bottles. Drop it off at your Hannaford's store. The Friends will get the credit. And then go pick up another bag at the Library.

Artist Trading Card workshops
are being suspended for at least the summer.

If we can find someone who would like to coordinate future meetings in the fall, we may be able to start them up again at that time.

Book Sale

Our next big book sale will be the weekend of October 16 & 17.
We appreciate donations, but please do not bring us books that have been exposed to moisture or missing covers or pages. We also do not accept magazines, textbooks, encyclopedias, or Readers' Digest condensed books. (Sorry, but they just don't sell.)
We do accept DVDs and audio books that are complete and in good condition. We greatly appreciate donations that come in packing boxes because we are always short of boxes.

If you can help with set-up or sale, please contact the library.
If you have bags, please drop them off. Thanks.

Bring your knitting and sit, knit & chat with your neighbors working on their own projects. .
3:30 - 5:30 Tuesday afternoons.

Book Discussion Groups
The Falmouth Memorial Library sponsors a book discussion group that
meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 1:00 - 2:30 pm. The theme for the next few months is "Women of the World." Here is the schedule:

May 12	Mansfield Park by Jane Austen
June 9	Women of the Inner Sea by Thomas Keneally

These are informal discussions. You need not attend all meetings.
